The media landscape faces an unprecedented challenge: artificial intelligence is making it increasingly difficult to distinguish authentic content from forgeries.
Deepfakes and synthetic media are flooding our information channels, undermining trust in what we see online. As a company dedicated to addressing this problem, we at Veintree are developing a solution that will fundamentally change the approach to combating fake content.
We were invited to Las Vegas to present this project together with our partner Wazup-Intech at the Consumer Electronics Show 2025, where we had our booth within the Web3-Tokenization-Fintech Pavilion. The presentation generated significant interest from industry stakeholders.

Traditional methods for combating fake content rely on reactive detection approaches, they attempt to identify manipulated content after it has already been created. However, as AI generation technology becomes more sophisticated, these detection methods quickly become obsolete. It’s an arms race where counterfeiters are often one step ahead.

As public trust in information sources diminishes, it becomes increasingly difficult for citizens to make informed decisions in voting, investing, and daily life. Maintaining reliable information channels is essential for a functioning democratic society and stable markets. Our Solution: Proactive Authentication
Veintree is taking a different path. Instead of trying to detect forgeries, we’re developing technology to authenticate genuine content at the moment of creation.
This paradigm shift from defense to offense will fundamentally change the rules of the game.
How It Will Work
Content Creation and Authentication
For journalists, content creators, media organizations etc., this will mean they can embed their content with an immutable proof of authenticity right at creation.
Content creators would use Veintree authentication dongles to biocryptographically sign their content at the moment of creation.
Verification Process
Verification will happen through a simple app that allows consumers and platforms to instantly check whether content is original, unaltered, and from a verified source. Any subsequent manipulation of the watermarked content will break the signature match and immediately flag it as altered.
Flexible Identity Options
Our system could offer flexible identity verification that can work in multiple modes:
- Public attribution: Content can be signed with full name verification for complete transparency
- Anonymous authentication: Content can be authenticated without revealing the creator’s identity
- Selective disclosure: The affected person can always determine who the signer is, even when the signature appears anonymous to others

Our system will be built on three core components:
- Quantum-resistant biometric security: We’re developing technology to convert biometric identifiers into anonymous codes without storing or compromising personal biometric data
- Hardware-blockchain integration: Signatures will be stored in a decentralized blockchain ledger, creating a tamper-proof certificate of authenticity
- Immutable verification: The blockchain will serve as a tamper-proof registry of media integrity
Technical Distinctions
What will set our system apart from other approaches is the planned combination of META Video Seal technology and our proprietary biocryptographic signature. These digital watermark will be embedded directly into metadata and linked to the blockchain.
The anonymization of biometric data will ensure that personal information is never disclosed while still allowing unique attribution to the creator. This solution is being designed to be quantum-resistant – an important aspect for long-term security.
The dual-mode authentication capability represents a significant technical advancement, allowing for:
